The header fields contain general information to identify, describe, and locate each facility. It appears at the top of the module window and remains visible as users navigate through the module's tabs.

Category * |
This field allows users to specify which category applies to this asset. It is automatically populated based on the Work Order Category, however it can be changed. Click the caption button or click in the field and hit F9 for a popup pick-list. |
Asset Type * |
This field is normally read only and is automatically populated based on the inventory the selected category is tied to. If the selected category is not tied to an inventory module the field is set to 1 No Inventory Type and becomes editable. Users can then set it to any asset type they would like to. Click the caption button or click in the field and hit F9 for a popup pick-list. |
System ID 1 * |
This field stores the ID of the selected asset. Click the caption button or click in the field and hit F9 for a popup pick-list. The asset list that appears depends on the Asset Type. |
Asset Record No. |
This field stores the record number of the selected asset. It is automatically filled out by the system when the System ID 1 field is filled out. |
Odometer |
This allows users to enter the Odometer reading for the asset at the time of work. |
Hourmeter |
This allows users to enter the Hourmeter reading for the asset at the time of work. |
Other Meter |
This allows users to enter another meter reading for the asset at the time of work. |
WO Cost |
This field is how much it cost to perform work on the asset. It is automatically calculated based on the how the asset is related to the Work Order's tasks. |
Inspection Source Module |
This field stores the name of the inspection module the work order was created from, if the work order was created from an inspection module. It is automatically filled out by the system. |
