The Electric module provides you with several inventory modules to track your assets. The Shunt Reactor module allows you to record devices used to reduce the inrush of fault current by introducing inductive reactance into a circuit. This helps to balance the effects of motor starting, to operate transformers in parallel, and to control current. You can record the shunt reactor's attributes, location information, and associated assets, as well as view all related work orders and inspections.

To access the Shunt Reactor module, select Electric > Devices > Inventory > Power Factor Correcting Equipment > Shunt Reactor and the following window will appear.
