Types of Licensing

Lucity provides multiple license setups, some of these setups require some explanation.

Purchased Licenses

These licenses are purchased by the client and they can use them for as long as they want. Support is not tied to their licenses and is paid for separately.

• Support - Purchased separately
• IT Maintenance - Not Included
• Services - Purchased Separately

ELA

Expiring License Agreements (ELA) are license/support packages that clients purchase for a given amount of time. At the end of that time period that license expires and the software is not longer usable.

License Expiration Reminders

• 40 days before the license expires the system will begin to send a daily email reminder to the system admin.
• Administrators can configure who this email goes to and how many days before expiration it starts in the Lucity Administration Tool > System > Settings > General tab.
