Lamping Tab

The Lampings tab has several fields to provide quick information about the most recent inspections and a grid with a list of all lamping inspections for the sewer pipe. The records in this grid come from the Line Lamping Inspection module. At the top of the screen there are two sections that display data from the most recent upstream to downstream inspection, and the latest downstream to upstream inspection.

US/DS Lamping Date	The date of the most recent line lamping inspection.
US/DS Velocity	Indicates the flow speed in the pipe in feet per second.
US/DS Flow Depth	The total depth of liquid and obstructions, in inches, measured to the nearest quarter inch.
US/DS Depo Depth	The approximate depth of the obstructions flowing/settling in the pipe (in inches).
Total Remaining (Structural, Flow, Cleaning)	The sum of the assigned (structure, cleaning, flow) numbers from all observation records in the Line Lamping Inspection.

Note: The Structural, Flow, and Cleaning fields are calculated fields based on the quantitative ratings in the Inspection Setup module. For more information on how these fields are calculated, click here.

In addition, this tab contains at grid that lists all of the Line Lamping inspections for this particular pipe.

A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) will appear signifying ascending or descending order.

Double-click on an existing record to open it.
Right-click in the grid to add a record.
Right-click on an existing record to get a menu with options to View Record, Add Record, Edit Record, Delete Record, or Move Inspection Record to Another Pipe.
- Move Inspection Record to Another Pipe - Disassociates the inspection from the current pipe to another pipe.

How To Add a Lamping Inspection

Right-click in the grid and select Add Record. The Line Lamping Inspection module will open up to a new record.
Fill out the Date Inspected, and Inspected Structure. These are required and the combination of the two must be unique. The US Structure, DS Structure, and Alt Pipe ID are also required, but are filled out automatically when adding records this way.
Fill out any other desired fields.
Save and close
The Line Lamping Inspection record will show up in the Inspection Grid.
