The Mapping/Construction tab tracks the X/Y coordinates of the sewer structure, the map status, the attribute size, and the attribute type. It is also used to record the number of pipes or drop pipes flowing into and out of the structure. Finally, the Mapping/Construction tab records risk assessment and replacement information.
Special Function fields
# of In Pipes # of Out Pipes |
These figures can be calculated automatically. Click in one of these fields, and press F5. The system will identify the proper number of pipes associated with this structure from the Pipe Inventory database. |
Construction Grid
This tab also contains a grid of all Construction records associated with the structure. The sewer structure's Present Value and Remaining Life are displayed above the grid. These statistics are defined by the deterioration rates set up in the Construction record. Their values are updated automatically by the system.
A sample of the grid appears below. Sort records in the grid by clicking on the headings. An up or down arrow (highlighted in orange below) indicate whether data appear in ascending or descending order.
To access the Construction records, go to Sewer > Construction Records.
