Lucity provides a Suffix field for municipalities who use such elements in street addresses. For Lucity purposes, a Suffix is the portion of a Street Name that comes after the street name, but is not the Street Type.

The use of a Street Suffix is relatively rare. On the other hand, most streets have a Street Type.
When users create a street in the Street Name List, they select the Suffix from a predefined pick-list. The pick-list options are established in the Street Name Suffixes module.
