Lock Timesheet

Supervisors have the ability to lock and edit employee timesheets after they have been approved. This disables the employee's ability to add, edit, or delete timesheet records. Additionally, users will not be able to edit or delete the work order resource associated with the locked timesheet or add a new work order resource for the locked time period.

To lock timesheets, follow the steps below:

  1. Locate the employee's timesheet using the "Employees I Supervise" drop-down list.
  2. Locate the appropriate timesheet date range using the Date Selection field.

Note: Timesheets can only be locked in one-week increments. If your pay period covers a longer date range, you will need to lock each applicable week's timesheet individually.

  3. Select the "Lock Timesheet" checkbox.

Lock Timesheet

Important: Employees (including Supervisors) cannot lock or unlock their own timesheets. Only the supervisor assigned to an employee can lock or unlock timesheets. If employees designated as supervisors also have supervisors assigned to them, then the supervisors located further up in the hierarchy will be able to lock and unlock all subordinates' timesheets. To assign supervisors and enable timesheet locking, consult the gbaMS Administration for Web Apps help guide.
