Identify

The Identify tool was removed from the EAM Web Map in version 2017r2. Instead, the system automatically identifies features in the map that the user clicks on through a pop-up with feature attributes. This is the default action until the user activates another map tool.

Note:  The tool only identifies features that are currently visible per the map's Table of Contents.

Note:   If a user selects the web map icon on a work request without an asset and then identifies an asset and selects the yellow headset create request icon button in the identify pop-up a prompt will appear asking if the user wants to attach the asset to the original request or a new request.

Create Work Order *

Creates a Work Order for all highlighted assets.

Note:   If a user clicks the web map icon on a work order and then identifies an asset and selects the hard hat create work order icon button in the identify pop-up a prompt will appear asking if the user wants to attach the asset to the original work order or a new order.

Create Inspections

Note:  Your pop-up may not look like the example above because the display can be configured within ArcGIS Portal. If there is no configured pop-up for a layer Identify will be disabled for the layer.
